The Mental Load of Motherhood

Do you ever just feel like a good cry would help??


This isn’t a “poor me” or “praise me” post. This is a motherhood/raising a family can be overwhelming public service announcement so you know you are not alone in the journey. I literally cried last night because after yesterday I was just overwhelmed and had let anxiety creep in.



Sometimes I feel like we are always so busy putting our best face forward, especially during the holiday season, that feelings of being overwhelmed, depression, and anxiety can get swept under the rug.


It’s NORMAL to get overwhelmed and these other feelings sometimes. What is key is that you know it is normal and ask for help. If someone dismisses you, ask someone else. You are not alone and others are out there for you to help get you through the mental load of motherhood. ❤️❤️❤️


Let’s support each other, mommas. It takes a village, and we need each other now more than ever.
