Who Am I?

Hi friends!

Welcome to my blog. I will be the first to say, I have NO clue at what I am doing when it comes to blogging. I honestly started this to create a hobby for myself since life as a mom with two under two can need an escape. I hope you enjoy my funny stories, small tid bits of advice that I can give, and fun stuff that I figure out along the way. I will also be throwing in some baking and cooking recipes, because you will find out Blake (my husband) and I love to spend time in the kitchen when we are home.

For those who do not know me, my name is Paige Martin. I am a wife, mom to a 7-month-old (Eli) and 2-year-old (Cooper), full time marketing admin, and recently moved back to our small hometown of Lawrenceburg, TN. We moved back to our home town to be closer to family and hopefully invest back in the community that we love. We also took on a home remodel project when moving back. I will be the first to say, if you would like to test your marriage to see how strong it is, move into a house and try remodeling it at the same time. *Expect more blog posts to follow on that one.

I am definitely not the “picture perfect wife/mom”. So, if you are looking for that, you may not want to follow me. Life is messy. Life can be hard. Life can throw you curve balls. So, if you believe that and need to know that you are not the only person going through those things, then you might want to stick around.

Our family believes laughter (and a little bit of wine) is the best medicine to all of life’s craziness. Seriously, when all else fails, lets laugh about it and move on. Maybe not the best philosophy, but it has helped my husband and I through the last 14 years of us being together. And yes, I said that right, 14 years. Blake and I are not only married, but have spent half of our lives being best friends and surviving through a lot of $#1%. Several bottles of wine and Michelob later, we have survived and I would like to say thriving. I use the word thriving lightly because if you have toddlers, you know we are all just trying to survive.
